To integrate into the community
In view of the learning progress and needs of Non-Chinese Speaking students, the school employs 2 additional teachers and 1 teaching assistant to support Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students in learning Chinese.
Supports provided in Chinese classes:

3. Additional Chinese lessons
4. Interdisciplinary learning
In addition, the school’s measures to construct an inclusive campus include providing translation for major school notices, organizing activities to promote cultural integration and enhancing multicultural and religious sensitivity, inviting Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students to participate in uniform teams or community services, etc.
The school also has measures to facilitate home-school cooperation among parents of Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students. These include having regular discussions with parents of Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students about their children's learning progress and providing parents of Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students with information about their children's employment.
With reference to the “Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Learning Framework”, the school plans and designs a school-based curriculum and teaching pack for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students to learn Chinese. This school-based includes themes on "clothing", "food", "housing" and "transportation", which help Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students to develop their skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
2021-2022 Working Plan:
1. To strengthen Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students' understanding of Chinese culture Design the theme of the school-based three-year recurring Chinese culture curriculum syllabus.
2. To build an inclusive school environment Explore more opportunities to enrich the learning experience of Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) students Provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their achievements, including visits and multicultural activities which enhance students' use of Cantonese in daily life situations. Also, parent meeting is held to enhance interaction with Non-Chinese Speaking parents.
